Description

I kiss you is the story of two drops of water that when they fall, they meet in the air. In this meeting they share the gentle touch of a kiss. This touch opens up an immense universe that is the encounter of the other and through this encounter the discovery of ourselves that reveals itself when discovering the other. Eternal beginnings of Ephémeras vivences.
Feeling you, I feel.
When I kiss you, I'm kissed.
Discovering you, I find myself
Wanting you, I want you.

How it's done
With a clay plate called a ballast that is modeled in a handmade way. I follow every step to its final form. After the clay was dry, its first cooking. It is then painted with its own paints, glazed and goes back into the oven at the melting temperature of the glass which in this case is 1000º.
The clay is a generous material and suit that leaves to warp and keeps the movement in it printed. But it is also capricious and sensitive matter that requires being respected throughout its modeling process, in its drying time and cooking mode, otherwise the result will be of failure.
It is an alchemy the fire that bakes the clay and transforms it into ceramics. It is so resistant that it is with him that culture is allowed in the archaeology of so many civilizations.

Where I inspire
I don't always know what I'm going to do when I get into the shop. Sometimes they are images that I retain from vivid emotions, of objects I liked, from a gallery or museum that has given me new inspirations of how to materialize emotions.
I kiss you came to me by this process. I took the clay and the work was appearing, it was materializing and revealing, being I sometimes an bystander of myself in the creative act.

The pleasure of clay
Ceramic parts also carry in their nature the four elements: air, fire, earth and water. Thus the presence of ceramic works in interior design, harmonize the inhabited space, making people more receptive and confident. https://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feng_shui
